Definitions in the video by Obessu participants

PEER EDUCATION

Peer education can be considered as non-formal education between equals. It is based not only on knowledge but also on interaction and the peer educator’s experience and personal view.

HUMAN RIGHTS EDUCATION

Raising awareness and educating about Human Rights is necessary because these universal values are a minimum requirement to ensure any real democracy and peaceful environment. Human Rights Education aims to make sure everyone learns to understand them, to develop them and to never tolerate their violation.
