The last session of the "Ködak" training course, organised by MAKOSZ (Union of Hungarian High School Students from Romania) for its leaders ended last weekend.
During the course, which started in October, the 16 selected participants had the opportunity not only to exchange knowledge and experiences but also to socialize and build new relationships.
The training course was held at different venues during five weekends, each tackling various topics. The future MAKOSZ leaders learned about teambuilding, organisational management, advocacy, student rights, and training methods. The training course has also offered the participants a space to discuss their goals and the path to achieve them, and was a very useful field to learn how to work in a group and cooperate with each other. To create the perfect atmosphere every session was opened by icebreakers to strengthen the team spirit.
Despite the fact that the course ended, the participants are planning to remain in contact and to meet again. The real challenge now will be to put in practice the knowledge and tools they have acquired and to learn further form each other’s experiences and feedbacks.
Reka Ugron, one of the participants, said: "I am convinced that all the knowledge we acquired during this course will be extremely useful both in our student life and future career. Personally, I think that my own personality became richer thanks to this experience."
