Brief history

The National Federation of Business Students in Denmark was founded in 1979. It is a youth organization which represents all school students in upper secondary schools, attending a business related schools. At our general assembly, which is also the most powerful organ in the organization, every school member of LH is represented by 1-5 persons. They are mostly representatives from the individual student councils. The general assembly elects the LH board which consists of one president, one vice-president, three national elected persons and 1-2 board members from each region in Denmark. There are six regions, which makes the board consist of about 11-17 students.

Main aims
Our purpose is to take care of the political, social and economic interests of the business students. We work around three main topics: the creation of democratic education, the improvement of student democracy and last but not least political work.
We want to give every business students the best tools to actively and democratically participate in the Danish society. We focus on transform thoughts into actions.

Examples of activities organised by LH

•  We often cooperate with the other youth organizations in Denmark about demonstrations, campaigns etc.
