Members
To participate in AKS there is no membership necessary. School students can take part  in the work of the organisation by joining the local groups, who meet every week to discuss different topics or plan activities. Secondary school students as well as students from vocational schools participate in aks. But  during 2005 about 19000 school students participated in AKS activities.

Three examples of activities organised by aks

• Campaigns on school matters such as Student’s rights, Democracy in Schools, etc
• Campaigns on general problems in our society such as Homophobia, Racism or Sexism, because we strongly believe that school and society are linked together and affect each other
• Seminars for school students to provide them with information about certain topics as well as technical skills
