From September on OBESSU will have some new structure in the main office. Therfore OBESSU is searching for a part-time policy officer who is supposed to take over most of the today volunteers tasks. The PO will be new in the office start working with the new Secretary General.

From the 10th to the 14th of December 2007, school student representatives from all over Europe will discuss and focus on school student rights, participation and democracy in school. The topic of school student rights is not taken into consideration enough in many countries and even less at European level. Participation and democracy in schools is still intended in many different ways.

As it is OBESSU's most important issue we will train the international officers of possibly all member and observer organisations in how to work effectivly and sustainably. The course will give input about all important international institutions that are important for dealing with educational issues Europe-wide, how to work and cooperate and how to support them or being supported by them in your national school student union.
