3rd European School Student Convention

From the 10th to the 14th of December 2007, school student representatives from all over Europe will discuss and focus on school student rights, participation and democracy in school. The topic of school student rights is not taken into consideration enough in many countries and even less at European level. Participation and democracy in schools is still intended in many different ways.
Therefore we want to provide the member organisations with a platform to share their ideas and exchange opinions and experiences and the opportunity of a deep discussion with representatives of European institutions.
The Convention is going to be planned and organised by a preparatory team, which consists of two board members and three representatives of the member organisations. This call is open to representatives of all member, contact and observer organisations of OBESSU.
Being a preparatory team member means:
��� * Having attended at least one OBESSU event
��� * Being able to work in English
��� * Having experience and an interest in the topic of school student rights, participation and democracy in
��� school
��� * Be able to attend the entirety of the Prep-team meetings and contribute actively to the work of the
��� Prep-team after the meeting;
��� * Preparing some of the contents of the Convention, and constantly staying in touch with the other team
��� members between meeting in Orvieto and the Convention itself
��� * Being able to attend the Convention and arriving two days in advance
